Job description

Responsibilities:

  1. Contribute to nursing policies and procedures that conform to current standards of nursing practice and operational policies while maintaining compliance with accreditation standards.
  2. Ensure compliance with CBAHI standards and other relevant regulations.
  3. Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other medical team members to enhance service quality and resolve issues.
  4. Participate in daily or weekly management meetings to discuss updates, resident complaints, and concerns.
  5. Monitor the infection control program to prevent disease transmission and ensure a safe environment.
  6. Promote adherence to accident prevention procedures, rules, and safe work practices.
  7. Monitor incidents and complaints daily, identify unusual occurrences as per hospital policy, and report them promptly to authorities for appropriate action.

Qualifications & Experience:

  1. Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
  2. Master's degree preferred.
  3. Minimum of 1 year experience for non-Saudis.
  4. Current registration with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Technician, or at least dataflow completion.
  5. For supervisory roles such as head nurse or in-charge nurse, 2-3 years of managerial experience are required.
  6. Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, NRP are required based on specialty and relevant training.

Skills and Competencies:

  1. Knowledge of regulations established by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties related to healthcare practices.
  2. Strong organizational and time management skills.
  3. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  4. Proficiency in applying mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
