Responsibilities:
- Contribute to nursing policies and procedures that conform to current standards of nursing practice and operational policies while maintaining compliance with accreditation standards.
- Ensure compliance with CBAHI standards and other relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other medical team members to enhance service quality and resolve issues.
- Participate in daily or weekly management meetings to discuss updates, resident complaints, and concerns.
- Monitor the infection control program to prevent disease transmission and ensure a safe environment.
- Promote adherence to accident prevention procedures, rules, and safe work practices.
- Monitor incidents and complaints daily, identify unusual occurrences as per hospital policy, and report them promptly to authorities for appropriate action.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year experience for non-Saudis.
- Current registration with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Technician, or at least dataflow completion.
- For supervisory roles such as head nurse or in-charge nurse, 2-3 years of managerial experience are required.
- Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, NRP are required based on specialty and relevant training.
Skills and Competencies:
- Knowledge of regulations established by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties related to healthcare practices.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Proficiency in applying mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
