Project Manager (Civil/Architectural Engineer)
- Lead the overall supervision and management of construction projects, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
- Develop and implement project execution plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and contractors, to align project goals and expectations.
Supervision & Compliance
- Oversee on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to contract documents, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Monitor and enforce quality control measures to meet client and regulatory standards.
- Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance to engineers, inspectors, and contractors.
- Lead and mentor multidisciplinary engineering teams, ensuring effective collaboration and productivity.
- Assign tasks, review work progress, and resolve technical or operational issues.
- Foster a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for the client, consultants, and project teams, ensuring clear communication and issue resolution.
- Attend client meetings, provide status updates, and present progress reports.
- Address and resolve project-related conflicts in a professional and timely manner.
- Identify potential risks, propose mitigation strategies, and ensure proactive problem-solving to prevent project delays.
- Manage project variations, change orders, and contractual claims in coordination with the client and contractors.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare and review technical reports, progress updates, and project documentation.
- Ensure proper documentation of all project records, approvals, and correspondence.
- Collaborate with document controllers to maintain organized project files and submissions.
Technical Expertise & Innovation
- Provide expert advice on structural, architectural, and civil engineering matters.
- Implement best practices in construction methodologies, sustainable design, and cost-effective solutions.
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 20 years of experience in construction project management and site supervision.
- Experience working as a Supervision Consultant on large-scale projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements in Saudi Arabia.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
