Context

We are looking for a detail-oriented Marketing Assistant who can support our Marketing and Communications lead across all of our business lines through all manner of internal/external communication and marketing efforts. The role requires a multipronged focus to address the needs of our four business units, internal support functions and all public-facing materials, and includes, but is not limited to, maintaining and updating marketing collateral, helping organize our appearances at conferences and other industry events, awards submissions, digital marketing include web development and digital media, and facilitating our relationships with media outlets, client communication liaisons and vendors.

Our ideal candidate is self-motivated and adept at multitasking, an analytical thinker who understands how to distill complex ideas into easily understood summaries and graphics. You should be a skilled communicator who is comfortable reaching out to people across our global network to obtain key information and uncover developments across the Group that can help advance our objectives here in KSA.

In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in helping elevate SYSTRA Arabia marketing to a new level, indirectly helping to grow the KSA business by raising our public profile and increasing our consideration for major projects.

Missions/Main Duties

Key Responsibilities

  • Social media content development and management
  • Event planning and support for conferences, office initiatives, etc.
  • Writing and editing press releases, presentations, and all forms of marketing collateral
  • Support KSA website development, working with local and Group-level teams to implement updates
  • Support development, implementation and maintenance of KSA office intranet
  • Assist with information gathering ahead of project announcements, inaugurations and other key milestones
  • Arabic translation and proofreading as needed

Profile/Skills

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in brand marketing/ marketing comms/ corporate comms
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a marketing or communications-related field
  • Fluent in English and Arabic languages
  • Analytical thinker who understands how to fit information and ideas together
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of marketing frameworks
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Skilled with social media, particularly LinkedIn
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially PowerPoint
  • Able to work with a diverse group from many different backgrounds
  • Understanding of Saudi Arabian culture and customs is a plus
  • Familiarity with engineering/construction industry is a plus
