Job description

Job Responsibilities
  • Contribute to nursing policies and procedures that conform to current standards of nursing practice and operational policies while maintaining compliance with accreditation standards.
  • Ensure compliance with CBAHI standards and other regulations.
  • Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other medical team members to improve the quality of services and resolve identified problems.
  • Participate in daily or weekly management team meetings to discuss updates or resident complaints and concerns.
  • Monitor the infection control program to provide a safe and comfortable environment and prevent the transmission of disease and infection.
  • Promote compliance with accident prevention procedures, rules, and safe work practices.
  • Monitor incidents and complaints daily to identify unusual occurrences as defined by hospital policy and report them promptly to authorities for appropriate action.
Qualifications & Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree.
  • Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-year experience for non-Saudis.
  • Current registration with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Technician, or at least dataflow completed.
  • For supervisory positions such as head nurse or in-charge nurse, a minimum of 2-3 years of managerial experience is required.
  • Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, and NRP are required according to the specialty and relevant training.
Skills and Competencies
  • Knowledge of regulations established by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties related to healthcare practices.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
