A leading company in the aviation industry is seeking a Flight Operations Coordinator in Dammam. The role involves monitoring flight schedules, assisting passengers, and coordinating with various departments to ensure seamless operations. Key Responsibilities
Flight Operations Coordination:
Monitor flight schedules, arrivals, departures, and ensure on-time operations.
Coordinate with various departments, including ground handling, catering, and maintenance, to ensure seamless flight services.
Collaborate with flight crew and ground staff to address operational issues and maintain efficient flight turnarounds.
Passenger Services
Assist passengers with inquiries, ticketing, and check-in procedures.
Handle passenger complaints and concerns, striving to provide resolution and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Oversee boarding processes and ensure compliance with safety and security regulations.
Emergency Response
Act as a point of contact during emergency situations, coordinating with relevant authorities, crew, and support teams.
Execute emergency procedures as required, ensuring passenger safety and minimizing disruptions.
Communication
Maintain clear and effective communication with internal teams, crew members, and external partners to ensure accurate information dissemination.
Keep passengers informed about flight status, delays, and any changes in a professional manner.
Documentation And Reporting
Prepare accurate and timely reports on flight operations, incidents, and passenger feedback.
Maintain records of flight movements, delays, and other relevant data for analysis and regulatory compliance.
Supervision And Leadership
Provide guidance and direction to duty officers and ground staff to ensure adherence to established procedures and standards.
Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting effective teamwork and continuous improvement.
Qualifications And Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Hospitality, or a related field (preferred).
Previous experience in airline operations, ground handling, or customer service within the aviation industry.
Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, safety protocols, and emergency procedures.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Additional languages are a plus.
Ability to remain composed under pressure and make quick decisions in fast-paced situations.
Proficiency in using computer systems and software for flight operations management.
Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts.
