Job description

Job Title: Area Sales Manager

Qualifications: Bachelor of Technology/Engineering (Electrical), with a minimum of 10 years experience in service sales business. Proficiency in both spoken & written English is required.

Job Description:

  1. Role Overview: Responsible for driving, implementing, reporting, and monitoring the progress of the service sales strategy. Develop trends for identifying and winning new business, develop contract strategies, and prepare project proposals based on policies, customer requirements, budgets, and timelines. Ensure compliance with technical standards.
  2. Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify, review, and negotiate contract baselines and other documents to maximize financial and operational performance.
  • Document any changes or amendments during contract execution.
  • Assess and monitor contract success/deviations, and implement required changes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate execution of commercial aspects, collaborating with technical, financial, legal teams, and clients.
  • Support and advise on new business opportunities, leveraging legal knowledge.
  • Achieve KPIs for the three Business Units (PGHV, TRES, PGGI) and develop sales pipelines for these units.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction, meet expectations, and coordinate with all BUs to present a unified front.
  • Utilize Hitachi tools for proactive customer engagement and strategize account management to maintain, analyze, and improve sales data.
