Sarmad is actively seeking a motivated and experienced Digital Bank Software Development Manager to lead our software development initiatives within the digital banking sector. This role requires a forward-thinking individual with a strong background in software development and project management, particularly in the banking and financial services industry. You will be responsible for overseeing the development of innovative digital banking solutions that enhance customer experiences and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of software developers in creating digital banking applications
- Oversee the complete software development lifecycle, including planning, execution, testing, and deployment
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Ensure that development practices are aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Monitor project progress, optimize resources, and manage timelines to meet delivery schedules
- Act as a liaison between development teams and management to facilitate effective communication and collaboration
- Implement best practices in software development, including agile methodologies
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in digital banking
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- At least 7 years of experience in software development, with a focus on banking or financial services
- Proven experience in managing software development teams and projects
- Solid understanding of digital banking systems, applications, and APIs
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, .NET, Python, or similar
