We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Supermarket Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure excellent customer service, and drive sales performance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, inventory, budgets, and compliance with local regulations while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
- Oversee daily supermarket operations, including opening/closing procedures.
- Ensure shelves are well-stocked, organized, and products are displayed attractively.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage supplier relationships.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize shrinkage.
Customer Service:
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing complaints and resolving issues promptly.
- Train staff on excellent customer service practices.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment.
Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise supermarket staff.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.
- Foster a positive work environment and ensure compliance with labor laws.
Financial Management:
- Prepare and manage budgets, sales targets, and financial reports.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and implement strategies to boost profitability.
- Monitor expenses and optimize cost-efficiency.
Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabia's health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Adhere to local business laws and licensing requirements.
- Implement security measures to protect employees, customers, and assets.
Marketing & Promotions:
- Plan and execute promotional campaigns to increase foot traffic and sales.
- Collaborate with marketing teams on advertising and loyalty programs.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in supermarket management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and POS systems.
- Knowledge of local market trends and customer preferences.
- Fluency in Arabic and English (preferred).
