Job Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Head of Operations to oversee and coordinate SDC’s field operations across nurseries, landscaping projects, and green infrastructure initiatives.

Beyond managing application logistics and quality assurance, the Head of Operations will play a key client-facing role, supporting business development, promoting LNC technology, and helping secure successful Proof of Concept (POC) projects and commercial deployments.

This role requires a professional who understands technical fieldwork and recognizes that operational excellence, technical credibility, and client collaboration are critical to winning and expanding projects in a new and fast-growing market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the execution of LNC application activities across landscaping, nursery, and agricultural projects in Saudi Arabia.
• Plan and manage site operations, including workforce mobilization, equipment readiness, irrigation compatibility checks, soil monitoring, and reporting.
• Coordinate closely with the sales, business development, and marketing teams to support client engagement before, during, and after project execution.
• Participate actively in client meetings, site visits, and pilot project reviews to explain operational processes, ensure client satisfaction, and build trust.
• Monitor treated sites’ water consumption, irrigation schedules, and soil performance to achieve KPIs.
• Represent SDC operationally during POC phases to demonstrate LNC's impact and contribute to successful commercial conversion.
• Provide input into marketing content and success stories by supplying real-world operational insights and field data.
• Support training and capacity building of partners, contractors, and clients on best practices for LNC application.
• Ensure all projects are executed safely, efficiently, and sustainably, upholding SDC’s values and Vision 2030 goals.

Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, Irrigation Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in landscaping operations, irrigation systems management, green infrastructure, or environmental project coordination.
• Practical understanding of landscaping operations, irrigation systems, and soil amendment practices in arid or semi-arid climates.
• Strong organizational skills and field leadership experience, including managing teams and subcontractors.
• Experience interacting with clients, consultants, and public-sector entities, preferably in landscaping or green initiatives.
• Bilingual: Arabic and English.
• Willingness to travel between project sites, including remote desert or semi-urban locations, as needed.
