Role Overview

Be a part of our project execution team as a Senior Project Manager (Airport Baggage and Cargo Handling Systems) in Riyadh, KSA. The objective of the Senior Project Manager is to implement and complete the project according to the customer order conditions and the defined project management standards, ensuring the delivery of performance, quality, and scope within agreed timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities

1. Lead technical, operational, and financial project tasks for successful implementation of airport baggage/cargo handling systems.
2. Formulate project parameters, monitor progress, track milestones, and report status to stakeholders using various tools and methodologies.
3. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, and risk logs.
4. Interact with clients to interpret their needs and requirements.
5. Identify risks and issues, assess impacts, and develop mitigation strategies in collaboration with the project team.
6. Seek opportunities for process improvement within project management practices and implement best practices.
7. Perform quality control on budgets, schedules, and plans, and report on project status.
8. Collaborate with engineering, procurement, QHSE, contract management, and other teams to enhance project execution and profitability.
9. Facilitate communication among project teams, stakeholders, and senior management to ensure alignment.
10. Monitor and control subcontractor performance.
11. Implement frameworks for project metrics and data collection.
12. Ensure compliance with applicable codes, policies, standards, and specifications.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
2. At least 12 years of experience in Project Management within airport baggage/cargo handling or large-scale industrial automation projects.
3. Minimum 5 years of experience leading and developing project teams.
4. Experience managing complex project milestones and deadlines.
5. Knowledge of project management practices, resource and schedule management.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Primavera, SAP; working knowledge of Revit, ACAD, and Conceptboard.
7. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to work under stress, independently, and as part of a diverse team.
9. Proven track record of profitable project execution and customer satisfaction.
10. Relevant project management certifications (e.g., PMP, IPMA, GPM, PRINCE2) are a plus.
11. Fluent in English; Arabic or German language skills are advantageous.
12. Awareness of Environment, Health, and Safety standards.
