Summary:
The Quality Control Technician is responsible for performing inspections, tests, and quality checks on raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards and specifications. The QC Technician plays a critical role in maintaining product quality, identifying defects, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Inspection and Testing:
- Conduct visual inspections and dimensional measurements of raw materials, components, and finished products.
- Collect and analyze samples for testing purposes.
- Defect Identification and Reporting:
- Identify and document defects, non-conformances, and other quality issues.
- Communicate quality issues to supervisors, production teams, and other relevant personnel.
- Compliance and Procedures:
- Adhere to all company quality control procedures, work instructions, and safety guidelines.
- Other Duties:
- Assist with other quality-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
- Participate in training programs to enhance job knowledge and skills.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Skills
- Education: Associate’s degree in a related field or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Experience: 2 years of experience in quality control, inspection, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in using measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Familiarity with testing equipment and procedures.
- Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
