Senior Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - Integrated Cement Plant

One of the prestigious cement manufacturers is searching for a high-caliber Mechanical Engineer for their maintenance department. The position will report to the Chief Engineer.

Responsibilities include maintaining all plant machinery and utility services in optimal condition to prevent major operational interruptions.

About the Role

Coordinate with the Chief Engineer in plant maintenance planning and annual repair/shutdown planning for integrated processes in cement manufacturing, captive power plant, and WHR section.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe working practices for all maintenance activities and proper implementation of work procedures.
• Execute all project work, major repairs, and plant improvement jobs.
• Assist in evaluating major contract jobs, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring effective, cost-efficient implementation.
• Coordinate between departments to maximize capacity utilization of plant equipment.
• Assist in planning for major shutdowns and organize the execution of major repairs on vital equipment.
• Create critical spare parts drawings and explore local markets to reduce costs.

Qualifications

Qualified Mechanical Engineer with 12-16 years of maintenance experience in a reputed global integrated cement manufacturing plant.

Required Skills

Strong mechanical skills, with the ability to maintain good relationships with vendors and contractors.
