Job description

Role: SAP ABAP Consultant

• SAP Development: Design, develop, enhance, and troubleshoot SAP applications and solutions using ABAP programming language according to business requirements and technical specifications.
• Configuration and Customization: Customize and configure standard SAP functionalities using ABAP programming techniques, including reports, interfaces, forms, enhancements, and workflows.
• Data Migration and Integration: Develop and implement data migration programs and interfaces to integrate SAP systems with external systems, ensuring data consistency, integrity, and accuracy.
• Performance Tuning: Optimize and enhance the performance of existing SAP programs and solutions, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
• Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation including program specifications, design documents, test plans, and user manuals.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans and test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of SAP applications and solutions, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, functional consultants, and end-users to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and support project delivery.
• Incident Management and Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for SAP applications and solutions, resolving issues and incidents in a timely manner to minimize business impact.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies, tools, and best practices to enhance technical skills and improve productivity.

Expectations and Tasks:

• Provide remote/onsite SAP consulting services to key SAP customers on innovation products, mainly SAP ABAP.
• Be actively involved in the preparation, design, realization, and Go Live of customer implementation projects.
• Demonstrate the ability to plan, run, and manage workshops/meetings with internal and external clients.
• Provide creative ideas and solutions to address customer issues.
• Execute innovation portfolios, serving as the primary contact from Customer Success service areas to deploy and implement solutions.
• Proceed with IMG configuration; design and execute implementation packages (e.g., RDSs, Best practices implementation guides).
• Engage with customer scenarios, understand business needs, and discuss best approaches to assist them.
