Job description

Job Summary:

The Procurement Department is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Procurement Buyer to support the organization’s long-term sourcing strategy. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing procurement agreements, optimizing supplier performance, and ensuring cost-effective sourcing of materials and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, conclude, and maintain strategic agreements with suppliers.
  • Manage the full procurement cycle including RFQs, RFPs, bid evaluations, master agreements, and release orders.
  • Perform supplier cost estimations and provide analytical support to end users.
  • Monitor agreements against budgets, schedules, and KPIs, and propose corrective actions when needed.
  • Evaluate and monitor supplier quality, performance, and compliance.
  • Identify opportunities for savings and process improvement.
  • Ensure procurement of goods and services that meet specifications, quality, timing, and pricing requirements.
  • Lead or support technical and commercial evaluations as necessary.
  • Maintain effective supplier and stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing or strategic procurement.
  • MCIPS certification is preferred.
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems, ideally SAP.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of best procurement practices, especially in the industrial sector.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive results.
