JOB INFORMATION

Job Title: Interventional Radiology Consultant

Department: Radiology

SHORT DESCRIPTION

An excellent opportunity to join as an interventional radiology consultant for one of the most prestigious and top-tier leading hospitals in Khobar, Saudi Arabia.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides high-quality interventional radiology care to patients in this area of medicine.
  • Provides consultative service as requested.
  • Supervises fellows, staff/assistant physicians, and residents.
  • Actively participates in the training and teaching of residents and fellows in his area of expertise and participates in research activities.
  • Participates in committees and other administrative functions as needed.
  • Performs special procedures as privileged.
  • Follows all hospital-related policies and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Graduate from a medical school of good standing.
  • Completion of required period of training in interventional radiology.
  • (Arab, Jordanian, Lebanese) Board certification in interventional radiology is typically required or equivalent.
  • Membership and/or Fellowship or their equivalent and fulfilling the criteria for the consultant as required.
  • A certificate recognized by the Saudi commission is a must.
  • Dataflow is a must.

Professional Experience

  • Minimum 5 years post Board/Fellowship in interventional radiology.
  • A registered member of the Saudi Board Council.

Language

  • Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.

  • Positive professional references attesting to the candidate's skills and ethical conduct.
