A Day in the Life

As an E-commerce Key Account Manager for the L Or al Dermatological Beauty (LDB) Division, you ll play a pivotal role in driving the division s online growth in Saudi Arabia. Reporting to the Commercial Director & E-commerce Manager, you ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our trusted dermatological brands like La Roche-Posay, CeraVe, and Vichy deliver exceptional consumer experiences online. You ll lead strategic partnerships with key e-commerce players, manage performance metrics, and identify growth opportunities to scale our online business.

Here s what your day-to-day will look like:

1. Strategic Account Management

  • Lead and negotiate annual agreements with e-commerce partners to secure optimal terms and drive mutual growth.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring alignment between L Or al s digital activities and those of the retailers.
  • Drive customer acquisition, retention, and growth through innovative digital marketing strategies, CRM, and loyalty programs.
  • Ensure a seamless online customer journey, including effective delivery and returns processes.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to define the consumer experience and optimize e-merchandising.

3. Performance Tracking & Optimization

  • Activate the right business drivers by analyzing e-commerce KPIs such as unique visitors, conversion rates, and profit optimization.
  • Adapt strategies to fit the nuances of the local e-commerce market while leveraging global best practices.

4. Brand Presence & Innovation

  • Ensure the brand s online presence and journey are consistent with overall brand standards and strategy.
  • Identify new e-commerce trends and opportunities for business growth, implementing action plans to capitalize on them.
  • Work closely with technology teams to ensure continuous improvement and upgrades to the site.
  • Scale direct-to-consumer online sales (if applicable) and drive collaboration with distributors to achieve monthly turnover targets.
