Our client’s Microsoft Business Solutions team is a Microsoft Gold Partner and leader in Microsoft software implementations for medium to large organisations, providing their clients with the ability to keep up with the ever-changing digital world by implementing Microsoft’s M365, Azure, Microsoft’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Engagement (CE) software from the Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) software line.

Role Overview

Our client is looking for a talented D365 FO Functional Consultant who will apply their expertise and experience to functional tasks based in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. Requirements

• Ideally educated to degree level
• Ideally Microsoft Dynamics certifications such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Core Finance and Operations and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and/or Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant Associate
• At least 6 years’ experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance & Operations (D365FO) or 5 end-to-end implementation projects
• Exposure to presales activities would be an added value
• Conducting functional interviews
• Mentoring juniors
• Some technical knowledge would be considered an asset
• RSAT knowledge would be considered as an asset
• Prepared to travel on a frequent basis
• Experience/Knowledge about ERP implementation methodologies and strong analytical acumen
• Experience in operating in Shared Services or nearshore teams is an added asset
• Ability to perform under minimal supervision and adapt to changing environments
• Excellent written and verbal English; additional fluency in French, Spanish, German, or Italian is preferred
• Experience with (D365FO) interfaces and integrations
• Good understanding of industry processes, principles, functionality & systems for the chosen specialty
• Beneficial to have experience of LCS and Azure DevOps
• Good MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Visio is a plus)
• Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) is a plus
• Experience in consulting and strong presentation skills

Responsibilities

• The D365 Finance & Operations Functional Consultant will show expertise in one or more of the following D365FO functional areas: Finance; Project Operations; Warehouse; Field Service
• Deliver end-to-end D365 FO implementation projects including design, configuration, testing, training, cutover, post go-live support & reporting
• Collaborate with onsite engagement team and client teams to gather requirements, align expectations and finalize deliverables
• Ensure quality delivery of deliverables and contribute to system and functional testing
• Demonstrate strong foundations in consulting, including analytical thinking, written and verbal communication, and teamwork
• Engage in D365FO interfaces and integrations
• Gather and document functional requirements and perform gap/fit analysis
• Manage scope awareness and change control
• Lead a work stream, make design decisions, and create solution documentation
• Deliver end-user training to clients and colleagues
• Provide on-site support during delivery and go-live phases
• Occasional involvement in responding to RFPs and RFQs would be beneficial
• Identify practice development activities and help define delivery approaches
• Carry out additional duties as instructed by Directors
• Ensure timely completion of internal processes and mandatory training
• Represent our client’s MBS in a professional and positive manner
• Maintain awareness of product roadmap and future D365FO releases
• Demonstrate awareness of upselling and company capabilities
• Adhere to the client’s Information Security Policies (ISP and ISMP) at all times
