Day-to-day
Maintenance and Repair: Overseeing and performing maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
Guest Requests: Quickly responding to and resolving maintenance issues reported by guests to ensure their comfort and satisfaction.
Team Supervision: Managing a team of technicians, assigning tasks, and ensuring that maintenance work is completed efficiently and effectively.
Safety and Compliance: Conducting regular inspections to ensure all systems comply with safety regulations and addressing any potential hazards.
Operational Efficiency: Monitoring equipment performance, implementing maintenance schedules, and keeping detailed records of all maintenance activities.
Coordination and Communication: Collaborating with other departments, such as Housekeeping and Front Office, to ensure that guest rooms and hotel facilities are in top condition.
Technical Support: Providing technical assistance and guidance to other departments and staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
This role requires a combination of technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication to ensure the smooth operation of the hotel's facilities and a pleasant experience for guests.What We Need From YouIdeally, you'll have some or all of the following competencies and experience we're looking for:
Bachelor’s degree, higher education qualification or equivalent in Hotel Administration / Business Administration
Two to Three years’ prior tenure in a similar role
International luxury hotel chain background
GCC exposure
English Fluency is required
Arabic Fluency is preferred
Teamwork and FlexibilityIn addition to the tasks outlined above, all team members are expected to demonstrate flexibility and a collaborative spirit. This may involve taking on additional responsibilities as needed, especially during periods of high occupancy or in emergency situations.
