Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Commercial Manager with a strong background in HVAC and ducting systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing commercial aspects of HVAC projects, from tendering and cost control to client negotiations and contract management. This role demands a professional with a deep understanding of the HVAC industry, excellent negotiation skills, and a strategic approach to project profitability and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all commercial activities related to HVAC and ducting projects from pre-contract to final account stages.

  • Review and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and variations to ensure favorable commercial outcomes.

  • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and cost control measures in line with company objectives.

  • Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, and internal project teams to ensure compliance with contractual and financial objectives.

  • Lead the preparation of tender documents, pricing strategies, and commercial bids for new projects.

  • Monitor and analyze project progress and provide accurate financial reporting and commercial insights.

  • Ensure compliance with legal, contractual, and regulatory frameworks.

  • Oversee procurement and subcontractor management to ensure value for money.

  • Resolve disputes, claims, and contractual issues efficiently and professionally.

  • Support project delivery by identifying commercial risks and developing mitigation strategies.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Business, or related field.

  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in commercial management within the HVAC/Ducting or MEP sector.

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, ducting works, and associated materials and labor requirements.

  • Excellent commercial acumen with proven experience in budgeting, cost control, and contract negotiation.

  • Proficient in using MS Office, ERP systems, and commercial management tools.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
