Responsible for loading, transporting, and delivering items to the customers or clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner.
Perform pre-trip inspections of the vehicle, equipment, paperwork, and loaded product.
Ensure all delivery loads are stacked, padded, and properly secured.
Load the vehicle/truck with packed orders, sorting and organizing products and materials in a way to easily locate the loaded items in the vehicle.
Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the quantity and charges are correct, and the customer/client is satisfied.
Deliver all orders, including materials and products, to customers/clients in a timely and courteous manner.
Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and handle complaints from customers and clients.
Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules.
Check in with the customer/client either by phone or text at each designated account to announce arrival and serve as company liaison for the customer/client.
Ensures all signatures are received in the printed challans and electronic devices when making deliveries.
Communicates with the branch head or store in charge if any issues arise.
Maintain all the required documents like Istimara (ownership), Meezan Card (for trucks only), insurance copy, driving license, Iqama, etc.in the vehicle all the time.
Reply properly and present all the required documents to government authorities at the time of inspection.
Maintain all the trip details in a logbook and communicate with the branch head and store in charge regarding the trips on a daily basis.
Document and keep records of all driving expenses, such as fuel and tolls, emergency repairs, and a report on distances covered.
Assist in warehouse operations as and when needed.
Loading and unloading of materials at warehouses/stores and at customer/client sites.
Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
Prepare reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
Operate equipment and machines, such as lifting machines, forklifts, etc.
Respect and follow all the traffic laws applicable.
Follow safety and traffic rules.

Qualifications Requirements:


High school degree or equivalent required.
Minimum 3 years experience of prior commercial driving experience and deliveries.
Valid KSA Driver s License.
The motor vehicle record must show a record of sustained safe driving with no moving violations in the last 3 years.
