Job Description

As a driver, your key role will be to deliver freshly baked goods to our high-end cafés. Your main responsibilities include ensuring the timely and safe packaging and transportation of bakery products while maintaining professionalism and excellent service for our colleagues in the bakery and cafés.

Responsibilities

1. Plan and execute efficient routes to ensure on-time delivery of baked goods.
2. Check and assist in the accuracy of bakery products loaded for delivery, ensuring they meet quality standards.
3. Manage and organize the bakery delivery inventory to optimize efficiency.
4. Operate and maintain bakery delivery vehicles safely, following traffic laws and company policies.
5. Follow safety guidelines to protect products, vehicles, and the public during deliveries.
6. Perform routine inspections, cleaning, and maintenance on delivery vehicles, reporting issues promptly.
7. Interact professionally and courteously with customers and employees, delivering a positive experience.

Qualifications

1. Reliable, honest, positive, and open to training.
2. Valid and clean driver’s license with a safe driving record.
3. Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is a plus.
4. Punctual and dependable.
5. Excellent communication skills for professional interactions.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to schedule changes.
7. Team-oriented attitude and willingness to collaborate.
8. Familiarity with the local area and navigation skills.
9. Strong commitment to safety protocols and maintaining a clean driving record.
