Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Draftsman to join our landscape construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and plans for landscape projects, including gardens, parks, and outdoor spaces. You will work closely with landscape architects, project managers, and clients to ensure designs are accurately represented and feasible for implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed landscape design drawings using CAD software.
• Collaborate with landscape architects to develop project specifications and layouts.
• Create and modify construction drawings, including planting plans, grading plans, and irrigation layouts.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and zoning laws.
• Review drawings and plans for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals and cost estimates.
• Attend project meetings and provide technical support as needed.
• Maintain organized project documentation and records.

Qualifications:

• Strong skills in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar design software.
• Familiarity with horticulture, plant selection, and landscape materials.
• Ability to create accurate and precise drawings.
