Job summary

Halliburton is seeking a Tool Technician to repair and maintain conventional and down-hole tools at our Jubail-based site in Saudi Arabia. You will inspect surface equipment, assemble and disassemble down-hole tools, and perform basic troubleshooting alongside a safety-conscious team.

An ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and 6–12 months of tool technician training or experience, plus basic math, reading and writing skills and basic computer proficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6–12 months experience as a Tool Technician I or equivalent tool technician training.
• Basic math, reading and writing skills required.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Licensure to drive commercial equipment may be required.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain conventional tools, down-hole tools and associated equipment.
• Perform maintenance and inspections on surface equipment; assemble/disassemble down-hole tools.
• Promote safety awareness and comply with HSE regulations and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisees.
