Job Description
The Role
As part of the Programme Management Consultancy (PMC) team for a major aviation project in Jeddah, the Document Controller FM Technical Design Management will be responsible for managing and maintaining all documentation related to Facilities Management (FM) technical design.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain, track, and update FM-related technical design documents, drawings, submittals, and correspondence using the project s document control systems.
Ensure proper classification, organization, and version control of documents in line with project standards.
Support the FM Technical Design Management team in retrieving and distributing accurate and up-to-date information to stakeholders.
Monitor deadlines for submittals and approvals, flagging any delays or discrepancies.
Assist in preparing document transmittals, registers, and reports for internal and external reviews.
Ensure compliance with the PMC s document control procedures and quality assurance standards.
Key Qualifications and Experience
Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Information Management, Engineering, or a related field.
4 6 years of experience in document control on large-scale infrastructure or aviation projects, preferably within a PMC environment.
Previous exposure to FM-related projects or technical documentation is advantageous.
Key Knowledge and Skills
Proficient in document control systems such as Aconex, Primavera Unifier, or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of document management processes, version control, and audit trails.
High attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Effective communicator with the ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with engineering file formats (e.g., AutoCAD PDFs, IFCs) is a plus.
