An established industry player is seeking a Document Controller to manage critical turnaround documentation. This role is vital in ensuring that all documents are accurately maintained and easily accessible throughout all turnaround phases. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in office work and documentation control, particularly within the oil and gas sector. You'll work closely with various departments and contractors, ensuring effective communication and documentation management. PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Maintains and manages all important turnaround documents and assures that they are securely kept and easily accessible for its use along all turnaround phases
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
File and record all documentation (includes engineering/technical, correspondence, project management, Turnaround Reports, commercial & legal letter, facsimiles, etc.) generated by SATORP and Contractor.
Interface with SATORP departments (Maintenance, Operations, Inspection, Process, HSE, etc.) & execution Contractors in distributing, recording and monitoring generated documentation and correspondence.
Manage transmittal of information between SATORP and Contractor.
Implement Contractor document control processes, procedures, and specifications to ensure accurate records of all turnaround documentation generated by SATORP, the Contractor and Sub-Contractors.
Accurately and constantly review and update turnaround documents, such as number, title, revision, status, etc.
Receive and send all documents between SATORP and Contractor, making appropriate database / log entries for tracking purpose.
Provide technical support and assistance for the electronic document management system.
Control and distribute all Turnaround Work-Packages.
DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE / MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Any Graduate or Vocational Diploma/Certificate from 2 year Technical course.
Work Experience:
Minimum 4 years related work experience in office work, documentation and control.
Skills:
Knowledge of the Oil and Gas Industry.
Knowledge in use of spreadsheets, database, word processing and selected job specific software.
Ability to keep clear and accurate records and reports.
Ability to organize work load and to manage a filing methods and management techniques.
Computer literate within Microsoft Office Software.
Communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to details.
Proficient in verbal and written English.
Saudi Nationals are preferred.
