Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Document Controller located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Document Controller will be responsible for managing project documentation, records, and communications related to the prefabricated building projects.
Job Description
Manage and maintain all project-related documents, including technical drawings, reports, and records.
Ensure document control procedures are followed in accordance with company policies and industry standards.
Establish and maintain a centralized document management system for easy retrieval and tracking.
Coordinate with engineering, construction, and project management teams to ensure accurate documentation.
Control and track revisions, approvals, and distribution of documents.
Ensure all documentation is up to date, properly categorized, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
Manage document transmittals, both internal and external, ensuring timely submission.
Assist in audits and inspections by providing necessary documentation as required.
Maintain confidentiality and security of documents and information.
Train and support team members in document control procedures and best practices.
Qualifications
Minimum of 10+ years of experience as a Document Controller.
Proficiency in document management systems (DMS) and software such as Aconex, SharePoint, or EDMS.
Strong understanding of constructions operations, engineering documentation, and regulatory compliance.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and coordination abilities to liaise with different project teams.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work efficiently under tight deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Knowledge of ISO standards, document control procedures, and quality management systems is an advantage.
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Certification in Document Control or Records Management.
