Join Qiddiya Investment Company as the Director of Tenancy Design Management (RES308), where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of a world-class entertainment and lifestyle destination. This role demands a dynamic leader who is passionate about design, dedicated to excellence, and committed to creating memorable experiences for our patrons. You'll spearhead the Tenancy Design Management team, ensuring that our retail spaces reflect innovation, cultural relevance, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enhance and guide the Tenancy Design process, advocating for best practices in design principles that resonate with our strategic vision and elevate the customer experience.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor department KPIs in alignment with company objectives, fostering collaboration across various business units.
  • Champion workforce performance and development, identifying training needs and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to advance strategic initiatives and maintain tenant engagement.
  • Oversee and negotiate fees and scopes with consultants to optimize project delivery and costs.
  • Manage the departmental budget, ensuring effective cost management and resource allocation.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations in design to provide insightful guidance to the team.
  • Organize and lead Design Review forums to facilitate project discussions and decisions.
  • Conduct regular progress updates and maintain transparent communication with stakeholders on project progression.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders including leadership, tenants, consultants, and local authorities to ensure smooth execution of design initiatives.
  • Provide mentorship to team members, promoting a team-oriented environment committed to achieving shared objectives.
  • Ensure adherence to the Qiddiya Investment Company s Code of Conduct and HR policies.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Urban Design, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 12 to 16 years of progressive experience in tenant design management, with a strong emphasis on residential design.
  • Expertise in sustainable design practices and a solid understanding of local building codes and regulations.
  • Exceptional leadership capabilities with a track record of building high-performing teams.
  • Proficient in design software and tools relevant to architectural and design processes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging various stakeholders effectively.
  • A well-curated portfolio that demonstrates innovative design solutions and successful outcomes.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
