The company:

Our client is the Private Equity arm of a GCC-headquartered investment firm. They are active globally. Their AUM in Private Equity is > USD 500 million. They invest mainly in health care, education, consumer and technology. They are looking to open a new office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The mandate will be to focus on investments in Saudi.

This is an ideal role for a seasoned private equity professional to deepen his exposure in Saudi in an entrepreneurial role. My client is building a team of 3-4 people. We are looking for people for all levels, however, priority is on the most senior role (Director or SVP). You will report to the Chief Investment Officer.

Requirements

• 8-10 years total work experience, at least half of which must have been in GCC, ideally in Saudi.
• At least 4 years’ experience in private equity is a MUST. VC experience is a plus.
• Fluent Arabic and English is a MUST. Please do not apply if your Arabic is not fluent.
• Saudi work experience is highly beneficial.
• Experience across the whole deal lifecycle is a MUST, from sourcing to execution to value creation to exit.
• Experience in health care, education, consumer, F&B and technology is preferred.
