Job Description

Responsible for supporting the growth of the credit business (volume) and revenue growth within W&PB through proactive engagement with relationship managers, Head of businesses, clients, risk management, legal and compliance, and others as may be required.

Lead the business monitoring of credit utilization/limits and ensure appropriate coverage engagement to safeguard client and bank interest.

Maintaining insight of market trends, being fully knowledgeable of Group’s credit framework and appetite, and developing tailored credit solutions i.e. pro-actively identify and implement new lending opportunities.

Contribute towards credit income and volume targets via the provision of viable credit solutions, whether through discretionary or programmed lending framework.

Lead assessment of client’s financial needs and risk tolerances/appetite and ensure that the client segments offer the most appropriate lending options including restructuring considerations.

Leading the preparation of relevant investment term sheets with leverage, credit proposals, credit documentation and engagement to procure relevant approvals in coordination with stakeholders.

Engagement with peers (credit) in relation to credit advisory proposition across multiple booking jurisdictions (onshore and offshore) and asset classes.

Building value propositions in liaison with Heads of Businesses, RMs and clients across the EPB client segments.

Provide continued briefing sessions/ trainings, and where appropriate one-on-one engagement.

Maintain lending integrity whilst having full comprehension of all relevant lending policies.

Regular engagement with risk, legal and other enablement functions and ensures continued partnership.

Develop, and enhance where relevant credit processes, procedures and controls.

Work extensively with the Credit team in extraordinary situations of Margin Call and Liquidation being triggered on client holdings.

Responsible for any lending program and product development for Private Banking KSA.
