Main Job Responsibilities :
  • Adhere to the Spa Policy & Standard Operating Procedures manual.
  • Act as an Ambassador for wellness at the hotel, representing the brand values for colleagues and establishing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining a professional appearance at all times.
  • Promote colleague wellness and wellness programming with Talent and Culture teams.
  • Manage the operations and efficiency of the wellness facilities.
  • Ensure effective communication and welfare for staff across departments and with corporate teams.
  • Develop proactive strategic initiatives for the spa and wellness areas to market the offerings/products.
  • Maintain knowledge of competitors’ locations, offerings, pricing, promotions, and sales techniques.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the hotel team.
Administrative Responsibilities :
  • Assist in financial budgeting and analysis for the departments.
  • Provide monthly budget forecasts.
  • Stay within budget to maximize profitability.
  • Implement systems to track inventories and report variances.
  • Approve payroll hours and service charge reports.
  • Generate and review operational and productivity reports.
  • Review and approve purchase requisitions and invoices.
  • Maintain equipment warranties and coordinate repairs with engineering.
  • Submit monthly spa performance reports.
  • Report maintenance needs of the spa.
Strategy and Marketing of Wellness Assets :
  • Lead the implementation of a 12-month strategic and marketing plan, including awareness initiatives for guests, corporate groups, and the community.
  • Create treatment and retail pricing structures suited to the local market.
  • Align all communication with brand guidelines.
  • Organize wellness events, retreats, and workshops to promote well-being concepts.
Revenue Management and Financial Responsibilities :
  • Set annual KPI goals aligned with revenue expectations.
  • Follow Accor’s revenue management guidelines for spa/well-being.
  • Participate in weekly revPRO meetings to explore new business opportunities.
  • Practice revenue management to meet daily targets.
  • Create pricing lists based on revenue management recommendations.
  • Assist with month-end profit and loss statements.
Guest Quality and Operational Excellence :
  • Accommodate guest preferences and special requests.
  • Conduct regular audits to uphold brand standards.
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure guest and colleague satisfaction.
  • Provide tools for effective daily management and guest service.
Health, Hygiene and Safety :
  • Ensure all safety procedures are followed by colleagues.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Prioritize guest safety and satisfaction.
  • Develop and enforce emergency procedures.
  • Report and address hazards promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with laws and hotel regulations.
  • Handle emergencies with urgency and discretion.
Qualifications :
  • Minimum of 5 years management experience in Spa.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration is a plus.
  • Experience in spa therapy, recreation, or fitness recommended.
  • Background in luxury hotels with financial budgeting experience.
