Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the health club, fitness, recreation, and spa teams, ensuring alignment with the property's vision and goals.
- Operations Management: Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, staff supervision, and facility maintenance, to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
- Guest Experience: Develop and implement programs and services that enhance guest satisfaction and promote wellness, fitness, and relaxation.
- Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor staff, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Financial Management: Prepare and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to promote health club, fitness, recreation, and spa services through various channels.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including proper maintenance of equipment and facilities.
- Program Development: Design and implement innovative fitness, recreation, and spa programs to attract and retain guests and members.
- Customer Relations: Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing health clubs, fitness centers, recreation facilities, or spas, preferably in a luxury hospitality setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and revenue management.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Certification in fitness, wellness, or spa management is a plus.
- Proficiency in using relevant software and tools.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and move around for extended periods.
- Capability to lift and carry equipment as needed.
