WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU:MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Identifies prospective accounts and establishes goals for Key Accounts by analysing historical data and other statistical information and conducting accounts interviews and preparing customer action plans.
- Attends fairs (domestic/international) to represent the Hotel and/or region according to the action plan within the Business/Marketing Plan of the Hotel.
- Prioritize sales activities for the domestic market for local travel trade and corporate accounts.
- Work closely with the General Manager on the international market according to internal regulations.
- Coordinate room availability for high booking periods with hotel operations management.
- Maintain the right market mix to ensure product quality and minimize long-term market dependence.
- Hold regular meetings with hotel operations to exchange information and solve problems.
- Achieve a minimum of 5-7 personal sales/courtesy calls per day and 10 telephone sales/courtesy calls per day.
- Ensure all incoming correspondence is attended to and replied to in due time.
- Prepare and transmit weekly Call Reports and establish a Monthly Report summarizing past activities, prospection, trends, and competitor analysis.
- Prepare and execute a business plan/budget to achieve key figures from key accounts/markets.
- Co-responsible for the settlement of outstanding accounts in coordination with the Credit Manager.
- Establish and sign contracts with local In-bound Operators/Travel Agents/Corporate considering the official Rate Policy.
- Conduct rate market surveys to advise management of actual market trends.
- Establish and co-sign contracts with international Tour Operators/Corporate respecting the Rate Policy.
- Discuss and coordinate special deals with hotel management before offering them.
- Ensure all staff are familiar with the Hotel's emergency procedures.
- Set up and maintain ongoing training programs in conjunction with the Director of HR & the L&D Manager.
- Maintain a monthly overview of vacation and public holiday balances of staff and deliver a monthly summary to the Director of HR.
- Familiarize with all related company documentation and Operational Standards Manual.
- Assume responsibility of Duty Manager when scheduled.
- Carry out any other reasonable tasks as requested.
Qualifications:Master's Degree in Marketing or Diploma in vocational hospitality, 8-10 years experience in 4-5 star Hotel.
