Job Description
We are looking for an innovative and results-oriented Director of Sales & Marketing to join our team in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. This role offers the chance to lead and shape our sales and marketing strategies, driving growth and strengthening our brand presence in the competitive hospitality industry.
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to surpass financial targets, increase market share, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing sales and marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Analyze market trends, customer data, and the competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities and customer segments.
- Create and implement strategic account plans for key demand generators in the market.
- Oversee all sales channels, utilizing on-property resources and above-property sales engines to maximize revenue.
- Manage and optimize digital marketing efforts, including social media, content marketing, and online advertising.
- Coordinate with operational departments to align sales strategies with hotel objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry influencers.
- Lead the annual budget planning for the sales and marketing department.
- Monitor key performance indicators and provide data-driven insights for decision-making.
- Ensure consistency and excellence in branding and marketing materials across all customer touchpoints.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, continuously innovating to stay competitive.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
- At least 5 years of senior sales and marketing experience, preferably in hospitality.
- Proven success in developing and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
- Deep knowledge of digital marketing trends and techniques.
- Proficiency in CRM and marketing analytics tools.
- Experience with budget management and financial planning.
- Understanding of the luxury hospitality market and customer expectations.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel management systems (e.g., Opera).
- Fluent in English; Arabic skills are a plus.
- Willingness to travel for business development and industry events.
