We are seeking an innovative and results-driven Director of Sales & Marketing to join our team in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to lead and shape our sales and marketing strategies, driving growth and enhancing our brand presence in the competitive hospitality industry.
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to exceed financial targets, increase market share, and enhance customer satisfaction
- Lead and mentor a high-performing sales and marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration
- Analyze market trends, customer data, and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities and customer segments
- Create and execute strategic account plans for key demand generators in the market
- Oversee all sales channels, leveraging on-property resources and above-property sales engines to maximize revenue
- Manage and optimize digital marketing initiatives, including social media, content marketing, and online advertising
- Collaborate with operations departments to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall hotel objectives
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers
- Lead the annual budgeting process for the sales and marketing department
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, providing data-driven insights to inform decision-making
- Ensure brand consistency and excellence across all marketing materials and customer touchpoints
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, continuously innovating to maintain a competitive edge
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior sales and marketing role, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sales and marketing strategies
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a high-performing team
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships
- In-depth knowledge of digital marketing techniques and trends
- Proficiency in CRM systems and marketing analytics tools
- Experience in budget management and financial planning
- Strong understanding of the luxury hospitality market and customer expectations
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and hotel management systems (e.g., Opera)
- Fluency in English required; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
- Willingness to travel as needed for business development and industry events
