Director of Sales And Business Development

UltraSense Systems is revolutionizing user interfaces with cutting-edge touch-sensing technology. As part of our global expansion, we are establishing aDesign and Manufacturing Center in Riyadh—a strategic move that enhances our ability to serve key markets, including the U.S. and China.

The Opportunity

We are seeking aBusiness Development & Sales Directorto lead ourgrowth strategy in Saudi Arabia and the surrounding region. As our first key hire in the region, you will play apivotal role in establishing our presence, driving sales, and securing partnershipswith key stakeholders across the market with key focus on automotive. This is a high-impact leadership position with the opportunity to shape the future of UltraSense Systems in the Middle East.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Expansion:Develop and execute business strategies to drive revenue growth in Saudi Arabia and beyond.
  • Sales Leadership:Build and lead a high-performing sales team, aligning strategies with corporate objectives.
  • Customer Engagement:Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with major clients, government entities, and industry partners.
  • Strategic Partnerships:Establish alliances with OEMs, technology integrators, and ecosystem players to accelerate market penetration.
  • Revenue Generation:Implement innovative sales models to drive customer adoption and long-term business success.
  • Competitive Analysis:Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine strategy.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution from initial engagement to commercialization.
  • Contract Negotiation:Lead high-value deal negotiations, securing profitable agreements with key customers.
  • Thought Leadership:Represent UltraSense at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to position the company as a market leader.

Qualifications

  • Experienced Leader:10+ years of experience in high-tech (i.e. electronic systems) business development, sales, or strategic partnerships in Saudi Arabia.
  • Education: Masters in EE or ME. MBA preferred.
  • Market Expert:Deep understanding of Saudi Arabia’s technology ecosystem, regulatory environment, and business culture.Automotive experience is a key.
  • Relationship Builder:Proven ability to engage and influence senior decision-makers, from government stakeholders to enterprise customers.
  • Results-Driven:Strong track record of exceeding sales targets, scaling revenue, and executing successful go-to-market strategies.
  • Strategic Thinker:Business acumen, analytical mindset, and the ability to translate market trends into actionable strategies.
  • Tech-Savvy:Familiarity with sales CRM tools, business intelligence platforms, and emerging technology trends.
  • Multilingual:Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
