Job description

Duties and Responsibilities
As Director of Residences, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of the Residences to provide exceptional products and services within brand standards.

The duties and responsibilities will include:

• Continuously focus on rejuvenating the Residences experience by staying abreast of industry trends and practices, updating knowledge and skills to enhance the product and service offering.
• Instill a cost-focused philosophy through training and education.
• Lead a team of engaged and experienced managers within the residences departments, each managing their own teams daily to uphold Six Senses' standards of operation and service.
• Establish and deliver financial targets related to revenue, profitability, and ROIC.
• Ensure the property operates in compliance with all legal, statutory, and financial requirements, including documentation, reporting systems, contractual obligations, security and safety protocols, communication standards, product and service standards, host management practices, and budget controls to guarantee successful operations.

Qualifications
To succeed as Director of Residences, I possess the necessary qualifications, technical skills, and experience in a similar luxury residence role with proven results. I hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or Business Administration, along with ten or more years of experience in a comparable luxury role, including multi-departmental exposure.

Technical skills include advanced proficiency in MS Office, familiarity with hotel systems such as POS, PMS, and MIS platforms, and some knowledge of accounting software. I have excellent command of written and spoken English, with some understanding of the local language and customs.
