Job Title: Director of Strategic Partnerships & Development - Hospitality & Culinary Education

Foreground is supporting a leading learning academy in Saudi Arabia to establish a new Hospitality and Culinary Education division. We are seeking a Director to lead the launch, growth, and success of this new business line.

Role Overview

This leadership role involves building the division from scratch, overseeing facility development, forging global academic and industry partnerships, and driving strategic and commercial growth. The focus is on business development, partnerships, operational setup, and commercial performance, rather than academic curriculum development.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the establishment of the division, including facility specifications.
  2. Develop strategic partnerships with international hospitality and culinary institutions, especially in Switzerland, France, and Europe.
  3. Source and implement international curricula through partnerships.
  4. Build and manage a team to deliver industry-relevant training programs.
  5. Establish corporate relationships for sponsorships, internships, and employment pathways.
  6. Drive business development to increase enrollment, engagement, and revenue.
  7. Represent the academy at industry events and forums.
  8. Collaborate with the executive team to align with overall vision and objectives.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in hospitality or culinary sectors, with leadership in operations, business development, and partnerships.
  • Experience launching or expanding business units in hospitality or education.
  • Strong international network in hospitality, culinary schools, or industry organizations.
  • Experience in facility setup, operations, and strategic growth.
  • Experience in Saudi Arabia or GCC; UAE-based candidates are also considered.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, capable of leading projects from concept to operation.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic skills are a plus.
  • Commercially driven, relationship-oriented, passionate about talent development in hospitality and culinary arts.
