Job Description

We are currently seeking passionate and dynamic Materials professionals who pride themselves on delivering extraordinary customer service and providing creative solutions to our guests.

As a Director of Materials Management, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing all administrative functions of the Materials Department, including staffing, training, and related duties
  • Maintaining logical storeroom inventory levels necessary for operations
  • Overseeing hygiene, fire and safety standards, proper storage arrangements, and cleanliness of storerooms and freezers according to corporate, local, and international standards
  • Informing management and department heads about pending items, new procedures, system issues, and other relevant matters
  • Obtaining written approval for established stock levels from the Director of Finance / Financial Controller and General Manager
  • Issuing regular reports on slow-moving items
  • Ensuring the validity of items, managing obsolete stock, and following up on disposal actions
  • Verifying that all documentation and quotations are maintained and filed according to Rotana policies and procedures
Skills and Qualifications

Education, Qualifications & Experiences

Ideally, a bachelor's degree with a minimum of two years' experience in a similar role within a multinational group. Proficiency in international computer purchasing systems and previous Middle East experience are essential. Fluency in written and spoken English is required; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
