We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Loss Prevention to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive loss prevention strategies to ensure the safety and security of our assets, employees, and customers.
- Develop, implement, and oversee loss prevention policies and procedures across the organization
- Lead and manage the loss prevention team, providing guidance, training, and support
- Conduct risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate identified risks
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate loss prevention strategies into overall business operations
- Investigate incidents of theft, fraud, or other security breaches, and implement corrective actions
- Manage the department's budget and resources effectively
- Liaise with local law enforcement agencies and maintain awareness of current security issues
- Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations related to security and loss prevention
- Analyze data and prepare reports on loss prevention metrics and trends
- Oversee the maintenance and operation of security systems and equipment
- Develop and conduct training programs for employees on loss prevention and safety procedures
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in loss prevention
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in loss prevention, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Proven track record in developing and implementing effective loss prevention strategies
- Strong knowledge of loss prevention techniques, security systems, and investigative procedures
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with security management software
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Certification in CPR and First Aid
- Cultural sensitivity and understanding of local laws and customs in Saudi Arabia
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive information
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including nights and weekends when necessary
