Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement an IT strategy aligned with organizational goals and national digital transformation initiatives.
• Oversee IT infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and optimal performance across systems, networks, and cloud platforms.
• Lead the design, integration, and optimization of enterprise applications, ensuring compatibility with e-government platforms.
• Drive digital transformation initiatives by leveraging emerging technologies such as AI, big data, and IoT to enhance service delivery.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance.
• Ensure strict adherence to IT governance frameworks, regulatory compliance, and data protection standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and provide regular reports on IT performance, risks, and strategic progress.
• Monitor and manage IT budgets to optimize resource allocation while ensuring cost efficiency.
• Foster cross-departmental collaboration to implement technology solutions that enhance organizational workflows and outcomes.
• Represent the organization in national and international forums, advocating for strategic IT advancements and fostering partnerships.
• Develop, implement, and enforce a comprehensive security framework to protect the organization’s networks, systems, and digital infrastructure.
• Ensure consistent application of security protocols, monitor for threats, and manage vulnerabilities across all environments (on-premises and cloud).

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline (mandatory).
• A master’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field is highly preferred.
• Advanced certifications such as ITIL or PMP are highly desirable.

Required Experience:

• A minimum of 8–10 years of progressive experience in IT leadership, with at least 3–5 years in a senior management role, preferably within the government sector or large-scale organizations.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing complex IT projects, digital transformation initiatives, and enterprise-level systems.
