The Role

As the Director of Finance, you will be responsible for overseeing and directing the financial strategy, planning, and operations of the organization. Your leadership will be crucial in driving financial performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and aligning financial objectives with the overall business strategy. You will work closely with senior leadership to develop and execute financial plans that contribute to the long-term success of Red Sea Global Hospitality.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

  1. Financial Strategy & Leadership: Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's business objectives, ensuring financial sustainability and growth.
  2. Pre-Opening Financial Oversight: Lead the financial pre-opening strategy, including budgeting, financial planning, cost control measures, and reporting structures. Collaborate with senior leadership and relevant departments to ensure financial operations align with the hotel’s luxury standards, budget, and opening timeline.
  3. Financial Reporting & Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, while maintaining compliance with local and international financial regulations.
  4. Budget & Forecasting: Oversee the development and management of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and long-term financial planning to ensure financial goals are met.
  5. Cost Control & Revenue Optimization: Implement financial controls and cost-saving initiatives while identifying opportunities to enhance revenue and profitability.
  6. Cash Flow & Risk Management: Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and financial risks, implementing strategies to maintain financial stability and mitigate potential risks.
  7. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with executive leadership, ownership groups, and key stakeholders to align financial objectives with broader business goals.
  8. Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture that promotes excellence and continuous improvement.
  9. Operational Efficiency: Optimize financial systems, policies, and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.

Qualifications and Standards

The ideal candidate must have at least five years of experience as Director of Finance, preferably in luxury hotels or the hospitality industry. They should possess strong strategic leadership skills, deep expertise in financial planning and analysis, and comprehensive knowledge of financial operations management. A track record of driving financial efficiency, ensuring compliance, and delivering results in a fast-paced, high-end hospitality environment is essential.
