Job Description

We are currently looking for dynamic, self-motivated Finance professionals to provide financial support, advice, and expertise to the General Manager and the team. The goal is to maximize value and improve the quality of accounting and financial processes within the hotel.

As a Director of Finance, you will be responsible for short and long-term planning and managing the finance operations to meet or exceed financial goals. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Managing the hotel’s accounting records and financial reports, ensuring compliance with company, owner, statutory, and fiscal requirements.
  2. Ensuring compliance with the management, owner, and lease agreements.
  3. Implementing effective internal controls.
  4. Monitoring adherence to company policies and accounting procedures.
  5. Maintaining legal and tax compliance and adequate insurance coverage.
  6. Liaising with internal and external auditors and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  7. Developing best practice financial accounting and control procedures.
  8. Supporting management with financial and commercial advice.
  9. Overseeing budgeting and strategic planning, identifying value opportunities.
  10. Conducting regular forecasting cycles with appropriate content and detail.
Skills and Qualifications

Applicants should have a college or university degree and at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Middle East. Must be computer literate and possess excellent communication skills, with proficiency in written and spoken English.
