Job description

We are currently seeking passionate and dynamic Sales professionals who pride themselves on their ability to deliver exceptional customer service and fulfill all business requirements for the organization.

As a Director of Business Development, you will be responsible for implementing all sales plans and activities, maximizing property business opportunities, and leading the property's MICE business. You will support the implementation of segment sales strategies and aim to achieve segment revenue goals, overall property goals, and guest satisfaction.

This role acts as the main link between the property and the Area Sales Office, conducting all day-to-day sales activities focused on building long-term, value-based customer relationships to meet sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the overall business requirements of the hotel’s top accounts through various sales and marketing actions.
  • Conduct hotel facility and service show-arounds.
  • Implement and execute sales action plans to promote the hotel’s offerings.
  • Handle leads received by the property along with the main account manager in the Area Sales Office.
  • Assist in executing the property sales plan and participate in the annual sales plan preparation with the executive committee.
  • Maintain files of major accounts and stay updated on competitors’ rates, promotions, and strategies.
  • Consolidate and finalize the monthly sales report for forwarding to relevant parties.
Skills, Education, Qualifications & Experiences

You should hold a degree in sales with at least two years of post-graduate experience, preferably within the hotel industry. Proficiency in computer skills, excellent presentation abilities, and strong communication skills in English are essential; additional language skills are advantageous. Candidates must be nationally and internationally mobile.
