Job Description

We are currently seeking passionate and dynamic Sales professionals who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of customer service and implement all business requirements for the organization.

As a Director of Business Development / Business Development Manager, you are responsible for implementing all sales activities and maximizing the property's business opportunities. You will also lead the property's MICE business and support the implementation of segment sales strategies to achieve segment revenue goals, overall property goals, and guest satisfaction.

The role is the main link between the property and the Area Sales Office. You will conduct all day-to-day activities related to sales, focusing on building long-term, value-based customer relationships to achieve sales objectives.

Your key responsibilities include:

  1. Oversee the overall business requirements of the hotel’s top accounts through various sales and marketing actions.
  2. Conduct show-arounds of hotel facilities and services.
  3. Implement and execute sales action plans to promote the hotel’s offerings.
  4. Handle leads received by the property in collaboration with the main account manager at the Area Sales Office.
  5. Assist in executing the property sales plan and participate in the yearly sales planning with the property executive committee.
  6. Establish and maintain files of major accounts and stay updated on competitors’ rates, promotions, and strategies.
  7. Consolidate and finalize the monthly sales report and forward it to the relevant parties.

Skills, Education, Qualifications & Experiences

You should hold a degree in sales with a minimum of two years of post-graduate experience, preferably within the hotel industry. You must be computer literate, possess excellent presentation skills, and have highly sophisticated communication skills, both written and oral. Proficiency in English is essential; additional language skills are an asset. You must be willing to be nationally and internationally mobile.
