Director – Investment Banking

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Investment Banking Director in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong network within the Kingdom and the ability to manage deal origination, structuring, execution, and client relationship management. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a leading international platform, delivering best-in-class advisory and capital markets solutions to sovereign, corporate, and institutional clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Originate and execute transactions across key sectors in Saudi Arabia.
2. Lead end-to-end deal execution, including valuation, due diligence, negotiation, and documentation.
3. Develop and maintain strong client relationships with corporates, government entities, PIF portfolio companies, and family offices.
4. Prepare and present pitch books, financial models, and marketing materials for clients and internal stakeholders.
5. Stay abreast of capital markets trends, regulatory developments (CMA/SAMA), and key sector dynamics in the region.
6. Actively participate in business development and thought leadership initiatives to enhance the bank’s presence in the Kingdom.
7. Mentor and lead junior team members, ensuring strong execution support and talent development.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. 10+ years of experience in investment banking, with a focus on M&A and ECM.
2. Proven track record of successfully closing transactions in the MENA region, particularly in Saudi Arabia.
3. Strong understanding of Saudi capital markets, CMA regulations, Tadawul processes, and the local investor base.
4. Experience working in or with international investment banks or reputable regional institutions.
5. Deep sector knowledge in industries such as energy, infrastructure, TMT, healthcare, or consumer is a plus.
6. Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is highly desirable.
7. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
