Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Digital Director to lead and oversee all digital initiatives and strategies for an advertising agency. This individual will drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions through a range of digital platforms. The Digital Director will play a pivotal role in crafting strategies, managing teams, and fostering client relationships while ensuring the successful delivery of digital campaigns and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies that align with clients' business goals.
  • Focus on key digital channels such as social media, websites, search engines, email campaigns, and other online platforms.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing digital team, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Foster a collaborative environment to encourage creativity and innovation within the team.

Client Relations:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding all digital initiatives.
  • Understand client needs and provide digital solutions to meet their objectives effectively.

Campaign Management:

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of digital campaigns across multiple platforms.
  • Ensure campaigns are effectively executed and meet performance and engagement goals.

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Analyze digital campaign performance metrics and prepare detailed reports to assess effectiveness.
  • Provide actionable insights to clients and internal teams for optimization and strategic adjustments.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in the digital marketing space.
  • Implement innovative tactics to enhance campaigns and keep the agency competitive in a fast-evolving landscape.

Budget Management:

  • Manage and oversee the digital budget, ensuring resources are efficiently allocated to maximize ROI.
  • Provide detailed financial reports to clients and internal stakeholders regarding budget utilization.
  • Collaborate closely with the creative, media, and strategy teams to integrate digital efforts seamlessly into larger campaigns.
  • Ensure cohesive messaging across all digital and traditional channels.

Digital Performance Insight:

  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of digital performance metrics and KPIs, leveraging data to refine strategies and improve campaign effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in digital marketing, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing channels, tools, and platforms (social media, search engines, email marketing, websites, etc.).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in managing budgets and delivering measurable ROI for digital campaigns.
  • Knowledge of analytics tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.) and the ability to derive actionable insights.
  • A track record of successful digital campaign management and optimization.
  • Familiarity with emerging trends and the ability to adapt to a fast-changing digital landscape.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with SEO, SEM, programmatic advertising, and display campaigns.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
  • Strong understanding of digital performance and metrics analysis.
