This position is responsible for the day-to-day management of the IT department, including IT infrastructure, processes, and systems.
Technical Skills:
- Expert knowledge in Microsoft Navision ERP 2017 & LS Retail, including implementation and functional aspects.
- Server installation, maintenance, and networking.
- Software installations and maintenance.
Experience:
- 12+ years of information technology experience, including 5+ years in retail and at least one end-to-end implementation in Microsoft Navision.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain technical and operational requirements, research and evaluate solutions to solve technical challenges, and collaborate with other departments on budgeting for technical equipment and software.
- Ensure the IT division's operations align with business objectives.
- Plan, coordinate, direct, and design IT activities, providing administrative support for daily operations.
- Collaborate with decision-makers to develop and support cost-effective technology solutions.
- Define and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Generate and automate operational reports, ensuring compliance with security protocols.
- Work with top management to forecast needs and plan resources.
- Prepare annual budgets and support technology-related budget requests.
- Develop forecasts for hardware, software, and application development over a two-year horizon.
- Monitor network and system performance, planning upgrades as needed.
- Provide technical leadership for integrating new technologies with existing systems.
