This opportunity is for a Saudi national who is interested in joining an international consultant.

The project:

This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project consists of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure.

Mace is one of the delivery partners requiring high-calibre and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.

Responsibilities:
  1. You will be an advocate of Mace's value of safety first, and be accountable for leading and maintaining exceptional safety, quality, cost, programme, sustainability, and compliance standards for the design resources you manage.
  2. You will possess technical expertise in local health and safety rules and regulations relevant to the project portfolio.
  3. You will champion a diverse and inclusive working environment and understand the importance of the wellbeing of the people you manage.
  4. You will guide daily activities of the team of design management resources for projects.
  5. You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of design management to deliver key strategic outcomes & sub-function KPIs, directly influencing strategic development.
  6. You will be a point of contact for client design issues, ensuring relationships are managed and maintained.
  7. Responsible for coordinating activities to deliver assigned elements of annual business plan outcomes to deadlines and budget requirements.
  8. Ensures briefs and stakeholder requirements are adhered to.
  9. Provides operational support for design management resource deployed to projects.
  10. Interprets and presents management review data/key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders.
  11. Ensures management system and governance is adhered across the lifecycle of projects.
  12. Responsible for review and input into management reviews, collating, analysing, and presenting data and key metrics.
  13. Develops effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  14. Coordinates with teams ensuring coordinated deliverables.
  15. Actively seeks out knowledge and experience through Company reach back.
  16. Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and shares responsibility for the proactive identification and management of associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.
Qualifications:
  1. Relevant degree qualification.
  2. Excellent communication skills.
  3. Educated to degree level preferably in a design relevant discipline (or equivalent).
