Job Description

Design Manager for D&B of Water Treatment Complex Project

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the design and development of water treatment plant projects from concept to completion.
2. Collaborate with engineers, architects, process designers, contractors, and other stakeholders to create detailed project plans and specifications.
3. Manage design deliverables in accordance with ongoing construction activities, as it is a Design & Build project.
4. Ensure designs comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
5. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
6. Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
7. Oversee the preparation of technical drawings, reports, and documentation.
8. Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to meet project milestones.
9. Provide technical guidance and support to the project team.
10. Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary for successful delivery.
11. Manage RFIs, TQs, and design workshops to ensure timely completion.
12. Review operational aspects of the plant for future planning.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; Master's preferred.
2. Proven experience in design management of water treatment plants in KSA/GCC.
3. Strong knowledge of water treatment technologies and processes.
4. Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools.
5. Excellent leadership and communication skills.
6. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
7. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
8. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
9. PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.

Qualifications:

1. Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related field.
2. 10-15 years of experience in water treatment plant design management.
3. Experience with advanced water treatment technologies and innovative solutions.
4. Professional Engineer (PE) license.
5. Experience working on international projects and with diverse teams.
6. Strong network within the water treatment industry.
7. Knowledge of sustainable and green engineering practices.
