Job Description
Design Manager for D&B of Water Treatment Complex Project
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of water treatment plant projects from concept to completion.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, process designers, contractors, and other stakeholders to create detailed project plans and specifications.
- Manage design deliverables in accordance with ongoing construction activities, as it is a Design & Build project.
- Ensure designs comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Oversee the preparation of technical drawings, reports, and documentation.
- Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to meet project milestones.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the project team.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary for successful delivery.
- Manage RFIs, TQs, and design workshops to ensure timely completion.
- Review operational aspects of the plant for future planning.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; Master's preferred.
- Proven experience in design management of water treatment plants in KSA/GCC.
- Strong knowledge of water treatment technologies and processes.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related field.
- 10-15 years of experience in water treatment plant design management.
- Experience with advanced water treatment technologies and innovative solutions.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Experience working on international projects and with diverse teams.
- Strong network within the water treatment industry.
- Knowledge of sustainable and green engineering practices.
