Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Design Engineer - Structural to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing structural systems for various construction projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with local building codes and regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and review structural designs for buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure projects
  • Perform complex structural calculations and analysis using advanced software tools
  • Create detailed drawings and specifications for construction documents
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure project success
  • Conduct site visits to assess existing structures and monitor construction progress
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, standards, and regulations in Saudi Arabia
  • Optimize designs for cost-effectiveness and constructability
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in structural engineering
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software such as SAP2000 and STAAD.Pro
  • Expertise in AutoCAD and 3D modeling software
  • Strong knowledge of building codes and standards, including local regulations in Saudi Arabia
